Think before you speak
There once were two best friends that lived together in a place called Jemar jungle. It was Lionel the lion and Mookie the monkey. Lionel and mookie loved to play together. They played all morning and night in the jungle.
Outside of the jungle lived a little giraffe named Gigi. Gigi was out looking for a new place to go because she was left all alone in Jessica Prairie when her family was shipped to Madagascar. She felt alone and wanted a friend to play with.
Gigi walked for what seemed like days and came across a magical looking place. It sounded familiar but she wasn’t sure if she ever did go to a place called Jemar jungle. She walked in slowly and saw a little monkey and a lion playing together. Gigi went up and said hello to them but they stared at her long neck and ran away.
Mookie and Lionel ran away from Gigi. They didn’t want to play with an animal that had such a big neck. They were terrified because they had never seen anything like it. It didn’t seem like it was going to harm them but just the way it looked seemed to weird. Both mookie and Lionel ran to Lionel’s mother Kierra.
Momma Kierra saw her baby cub crying and asked what was going on. Lionel told her that there was a strange animal in the forest. Kierra began to be concerned. She asked what the animal looked like. Mookie described the animal and said that it had a long neck, skinny legs, big eyes, sharp teeth, and it looked like it wanted to eat them. Lionel began to say that it was marching their way and was going to attack. Kierra got up and went to get all the other animals together to get rid of the beast.
Gigi laid down and cried because she felt like she was never going to make a friend when all of the sudden a little humming bird named Heidi came and sat on her head. Gigi asked “you’re not scared of me”? Heidi said “no. You look familiar though have we met?” Gigi didn’t remember meeting her. Heidi then said “let’s go to Momma Kierra maybe she knows who you are. “
When Heidi and gigi went to Kierra they saw all the animals together. Kierra looked at gigi and said “wow you have grown so much and your neck looks amazing.” Gigi looked very confused. Mookie and Lionel screamed “There ‘s the alien!!” Kierra told both Mookie and Lionel “no this is gigi she is going to be your new friend just like gigi’s mom and I were friends. Her long neck means that she is going to be princess of Jessica prairie not that she’s a monster. ” The other parents didn’t think that gigi was dangerous after all a little bird was sitting on her head and she wasn’t getting bit. Lionel and Mookie were surprised and thought to themselves I guess we should have thought before we _____. ?
